Summary of Personal Activities: Pit Pillatsch recieved his MSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich in 2010 after an Internship at AUDI AG, Ingolstadt, Germany in car body part manufacturing in 2009 and successfully completing his master thesis on machine tool vibration at the Kyoto University, Japan. Pit is a member of the Optical and Semiconductor Devices group since 2011, working towards a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. His research focuses on piezoelectric energy harvesting from human motion for powering wearable and implantable sensors. |
