Each list below selects the projects available for students in the given stream. Exceptions will be made to this (eg giving a EEE project to an EIE student) only in exceptional circumstances with the support of the Supervisor.
These lists are dynamic and projects may be added, changed, or deleted at any stage. It is expected that nearly all projects will be posted here by the start of Term, and that after this date changes will be unlikely.
Supervisors will NOT be able to confirm project allocation, or (normally) to pre-allocate projects to particular students. All project allocation will be made by the project Coordinators after student preferences have been submitted.
Most supervisors will post more details of contact times etc on their doors (or the Selection Team) before the first week of Term. If this does not happen please e-mail or telephone to arrange meetings. Research Group Administrators (normally on same floor as staff) will also be willing to help track down elusive members of staff. It is very important that you meet all potential supervisors - in order to have a project it is often necessary for you to meet at least 10 supervisors: after which you will typically list and have signed off 6 ot more proposals from 4 or 5 supervisors.
Projects will very occasionally be removed from these lists if no longer available
