ROBUST CONTROL, MODEL REDUCTION AND CONTROLLER APPROXIMATION

APPLICATIONS

  • Short text descriprtion Reduced Gain-scheduled Autopilot Design for Missiles: LPV reduced controller design techniques are used to control agile missiles. The missile is controlled over a wide operating envelope and nonlinear simulations proved the potential of LPV design methods for such class of problems.
  • Short text descriprtionModel Reduction and Reduced-order Controller Design of ITER-Tokamak:: LTI and LPV design methods are used to simplify the modeling and control of a fusion reactor. The problem is challenging in the sense that Tokamaks are represented with huge number of differential equations and no model-based controller synthesis can be used without simplifications.
