BECITechnology
The switch station will store, recharge and switch the cars batteries using a completely automated system. When the driver enters the station, after logging into the system by swiping a membership card, their car will be positioned using a conveyor belt and their battery removed by a robotic arm. From here it is loaded into the charging bay where it is analysed to determine the energy to bill the driver and a suitable charging method. A fully charged battery will then be loaded into the car with the same arm and the switch process is completed.
